The staff is incredibly accommodating and they were so helpful. I go here often and they always look out for me and my partner. In my stay they accommodated my last minute change into and non smoke free room and even let me check out much later. I love coming to Horizon Inn

Everything from the beautiful family staff , to the very clean and quiet halls , to the serene look of the room with the jacuzzi and advanced renovations. The projector I brought myself , it is not included with the room. Book to feel like royalty with your loved one!

Everything about this hotel just is lovely and comfortable, Mr Kenny is the owner and is more than willing to go a couple of extra steps just to help you and make the stay more comfortable in anyway possible, I stayed their for almost 3 weeks and I loved my queen room Clean, spacious, daily housekeeping upon request,tv with subscription, endless supply of coffee and ice (free), vending machines available as well My room was quiet even though it was on the street I highly recommend it for short or long stays in Avenel,NJ

We needed a hotel close enough to Newark Airport with free parking. When we approached the hotel it didn't look appealing from the outside, but the room was better than we thought. We arrived slightly early, needing to drop off our luggage and go straight out to see a band in Red Bank. The room wasn't quite ready but we were given a choice of rooms and were allowed to leave our luggage. The man who checked us in showed us to our room, helped with the luggage and finished making up the room himself. Excellent service! Although we didn't stay long enough to make use of them, there was a TV, fridge and a microwave. There was a coffee machine in the hallway.

I liked that they were clean and friendly. Had free coffee. They helped me when booking.com stuck me somewhere with cockroaches and wouldnt refund me. After a night of canceled flights these people are awesome.

We loved the quick check-in after such a long drive. The concierge was polite and even walked us up to the room and showed us where everything was and call him if we needed anything would be there all night.
